Sites in the center are quite open and exposed, with more private and well-treed sites along the edges. But you tent campers also realize that as long as you camp next to RVs that are denied electrical hookups, you'll be hearing generators. In addition, cancellations made within seven 7 days of scheduled check-in are subject to a penalty equal to s one 1 day reservation fee.

I don't care to stink. The rustic wooden cabins are outfitted in a similar fashion and do not have running water. More like a campground than and resort, Yosemite Lakes is beautiful with a few negatives. Ask for electricity for the campgrounds which accept RVs. Modern life includes RVs.

Food Food may be stored in a hard-shelled RVs and camping trailers. You can't get much closer without staying in the park which can be a real nightmare. The tents are closely spaced but are in a great location.

Of these, only Wawona and Hogdon Meadow are open all year and take reservations. In the spring, the campground is prone to flooding, and sites in this area are sometimes closed due to flooding.
On Highwayheading towards Merced, the privately run Indian Flat RV Park is a good option if you can't find a campsite in the park or are looking for more amenities. These campsites have restrooms with flushing toilets and running water.
This is a relatively small portion of the park, open year-round, where you'll find many of the most famous attractions, including Yosemite Falls, Half Dome, and El Capitan.
There are many nearby buildings and they ALL have electricty! If you plan to spend the night in your RV, you must be in a designated campsite--you can't park in a parking lot or along the side of the road.
Riverside sites are very scenic. The only problem we had was a lack of toilet paper in the women's restroom. You are prohibited from collecting firewood in the park, but can buy it from camp stores. Although it's more expensive than bringing your own equipment and renting a campsite, you can rent canvas tent cabins or small, rustic cabins at Half Dome Village.
Water A few of the campsites have tap water available. It's past time the Yosemite management realized that and got their head out of the sand.
